A big exhibition
The Belle Époque through the lens of a fine ‘800 photographic artist. More than 140 portraits tell of a moving era in the faces of a posed Valley.
On display are the photographs of Eugenio Goglio, a photographer from Piazza Brembana active between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Single portraits, of couples or groups, in the studio or en plein air, make up a rich gallery of images and convey the preciousness of one of the oldest collections of the Sestini Photographic Archive.
Portrait of an Era. Photographs by Eugenio Goglio (1865–1926), is open to the public from ’11 April at the Sestini Photography Museum, at the Convent of San Francesco in Bergamo.
